'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
The front end of a semi truck is severely damaged after crashing into a parked train in North Battleford Wednesday.
The incident happened on the outskirts of the city on Highway 16 just south of the Viterra grain terminal.
RCMP said there were two people in the vehicle when it hit the train and both have been transported to hospital with injuries.
The truck did not have a trailer attached and was the only vehicle involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
