RCMP responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Creighton Avenue in Creighton, SK late Friday night.
According to police, at 10:25 p.m. vehicle traveling on Creighton Avenue hit a 24-year-old man who was wearing dark clothing and laying in the middle of the roadway.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle wasn’t injured and waited for police to arrive.
Traffic was diverted in the area while the RCMP traffic analysts conducted their investigation.
Police said the driver was not under the influence of alcohol and has a valid drivers licence.
Next of kin have been notified. Creighton RCMP continue to investigate.
