The Office of the Chief Coroner is taking part in an investigation after a work-related death in southeast Saskatchewan.
News Talk Radio has learned a 27-year-old man was killed at an oil field site near Alameda — about 60 km east of Estevan.
The incident happened sometime Monday.
There is no indication of foul play. The coroner has ordered an autopsy.
This comes after a 29-year-old man was killed at the Agrium potash mine in Vanscoy earlier this month. On Monday, we learned another worker at the potash mine had been involved in some sort of incident, suffering serious injuries. He is expected to make a recovery.
