Two people are facing charges after trying to get away from police in a stolen vehicle.
Saskatoon police were notified by RCMP shortly before 3 a.m. Monday, about a vehicle reported stolen from Asquith, located around 40 kilometres west of the Bridge City.
The driver was evading police and heading towards Saskatoon.
A police helicopter was able to track the vehicle near Grandora, Sask. and notified patrol units who tried to slow it down by deploying stop sticks near Saskatoon.
The vehicle hit the sticks and stopped on Hart Road near Neatby Crescent. Officers in the air then saw three people flee from the scene on foot.
With the assistance of the helicopter and dogs tracking on the ground, one man was found hiding in a backyard in the 300 block of Needham Crescent.
A second man was found in a backyard in the 3800 block of Fairlight Drive.
The third individual has not been located.
Charges have been laid by the RCMP.
