The Salvation Army Biker’s Toy Run rumbled through Saskatoon on Saturday.
The area around the Marquis Downs cookshack at Prairieland Park saw plenty of shiny machines and smiling faces as dozens of bikers gathered for a quick breakfast before heading out on a ride to the Saskatoon Inn.
The ride is an annual event to collect toys and stuffed animals to be distributed through the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family Christmas program.
Rider Terry Mayes said he was glad to help a good cause, especially if it meant an excuse to get out on his Yamaha for a cruise.
“When you get in amongst this amount of people, there’s nothing like it. It’s actually fantastic,” he said.
