Two people have died in a fire on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation north of Waskesiu, Sask.
RCMP reported that officers arrived just after 4:30 a.m. Friday to find a house trailer in flames. At that time, one man was taken to hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
On Saturday afternoon, police said the bodies of an adult and a child were recovered from the scene. Autopsies are set for next week to identify the victims.
RCMP said the man who was taken to hospital has been released.
