For the third time in a row, Langenburg, Saskatchewan’s Jess Moskaluke has been named female artist of the year at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards.
She thanked all those who came before her.
“What I really wanted to do was take a minute to appreciate not only women in country music but our Canadian women in country music. Not only this year’s nominees, but I wanted to especially thank some of the women that have blazed the trail for all of us.”
Moskaluke said being honoured with the award was something she didn’t expect.
“I’m as surprised the third time as the second time and the first,” she said, adding it would be a “miracle” to win a fourth time.
