A member of the Regina Police Service has pleaded guilty to an impaired driving charge.
Constable Devon L. Sterling, 37, received a one year driving ban, $1000 fine and a $300 surcharge.
Sterling was stopped by Lumsden RCMP around 3:00 a.m. on July 15, 2016 during a traffic stop.
Sterling has been a cop for 11 years.
He was not on duty at the time of the incident.
He was given administrative duties until the matter had concluded in court.
An administrative investigation is currently underway.
