There were tense moments at a house in Saskatoon’s Buena Vista neighbourhood when police showed up with a search warrant on Monday evening.
Members of the Tactical Support Unit and the Crisis Negotiation Team went to the home in the 1500 block of Victoria Avenue at around 8:40 p.m.
After two men came out, police searched the home.
A woman was hiding in the attic.
Police seized five different weapons including three modified shotguns, and rifles, two of which were loaded, as well as heroin, methamphetamine, and morphine.
A 42-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested.
A 41-year-old man was released without being charged.
