Two Regina men have been arrested after threats forced three elementary schools to be secured on Monday.
At about 2:36 p.m. on Monday, police were called to a home in the 300 block of Rose Street. Police said two women went into a relative’s house and saw three men. Two of them were allegedly armed with a firearm and machete. The three men tried to get away from police but one of them was caught.
Nicholas Randall Dinardo, 24, has been charged with assault with a weapon (firearm). He made his first court appearance on Thursday.
David Terrance Dinardo, 22, has also been charged with assault with a weapon (a machete) as well as carrying a concealed weapon (a knife). He will appear in court on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016.
