Stabbing in Yorkton leads to charges

A man has been charged after an alleged stabbing at a home in Yorkton Monday morning.

Officers were called to a residence on Parkview Road where they found a woman who had been stabbed. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

Skylar Redstar, 31, has been charged with attempted murder and assault.

Redstar made a court appearance in Yorkton Tuesday morning.
