9-year-old Biggar girl approached by a man while walking home from school

RCMP are looking for one man in a red truck after a 9-year-old girl was approached in Biggar.

She was walking home for lunch Wednesday when the man rolled down his window and asked if she wanted to see a puppy.

She got home safely and told her mom who called police.

Extra patrols were put in place through the afternoon while police looked for the truck.

A notice from the Prairie Spirit School Division was sent to parents said Biggar and Perdue schools and daycares were notified immediately.

Mounties continue to investigate.
