The Red Wings will host the Kindersley Klippers in Assiniboia on Friday.
Two lovers convicted of plotting to kill their spouses have been released from custody pending an appeal.
Curtis Vey and Angela Nicholson were released last week on a number on conditions, one of which forbid them from contacting each other.
Back in June, a jury found the two guilty of conspiracy to commit murder.
On Sept. 2, a judge gave Vey and Nicholson three years for each count of conspiracy.
The Crown had argued the pair planned to kill Vey’s wife, Brigitte, in a house fire, and Nicholson’s husband, Jim Taylor, by drugging him and making him disappear.
The trial in Prince Albert heard that Brigitte Vey hid an iPod under a kitchen table and secretly recorded her husband and Nicholson hatching the plan in July 2013.
Their lawyers argued the plan lacked the sophistication to justify the punishment, and that it was nothing more than a discussion.
The Crown was originally seeking a six-year sentence.
