A house fire in Hudson Bay, Sask. — 157 kilometres east of Melfort — has killed two people.
Crews were called to the 200 block of Churchill Street around 5 a.m. Friday, and once they arrived they found the house fully engulfed.
Firefighters pulled two bodies from the home. A 36-year-old woman and 35-year-old man, from Hudson Bay, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined the blaze was accidental in nature. No foul play is suspected.
The names of the victims are not being released.
