ople in Saskatoon will be contending the wind, rain and possibly even snow on Tuesday evening as they honour the lives of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls.
The Sisters in Spirit Walk and Vigil will be hosted by Iskwewuk E-wichitochik, which translates to Women Walking Together.
The event is meant to offer support to families who have been touched by the loss of a loved one.
Around 200 people took part in last year’s event.
The vigil is set to get underway at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge on 20th Street West at 6 p.m.
Soup, bannock and coffee will be served.
