Regina police have charged a man after an alleged armed robbery Thursday night.
Officers were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. for a report of a robbery at a restaurant on the 400 block of Albert Street — between 1st Avenue North and 2nd Avenue North.
The information officers received indicated the two suspects — one with a knife, the other with a bat — robbed the restaurant and got away with money.
After searching the surrounding area, police were able to find one of the suspects.
Stanley Pelletier, 26, is now charged with robbery, resist arrest, among other charges.
Pelletier’s charges of robbery along with disguise with Intent to commit an indictable offense were stayed. He spent two nights in jail and paid a surcharge for his other two charges of breach of probation and resisting arrest.
Police are still searching for the other suspect. There is no description of him at the moment.
