The unemployment rate in the province is up, according to the latest numbers released by Statistics Canada on Friday.
In Saskatchewan the unemployment rate for September is 6.8 per cent. In August it was 6.3 per cent.
In Regina, the the unemployment rate went down to 5.2 per cent from 5.5.
Saskatoon’s unemployment rate rose to 6.9 per cent from 6.5.
The national average stayed the same at seven per cent.
