A 35-year-old Saskatoon man is in custody after a witness reported seeing a man breaking into a vehicle early Monday morning.
Shortly after 5:30 a.m., police received a call to the 400 block of Henick Cres, in the Hampton Village neighborhood.
A witness was able to describe the suspect and show officers where he was last seen.
A police dog was used to track the suspect who was found hiding in a backyard a block away.
The man was arrested and it turned out he had several unrelated outstanding warrants for his arrest.
He’s set to appear before a Justice of the Peace Monday.
