Police say garage door openers to blame for Thanksgiving break-ins

Garage door openers left in parked cars could be helping people break in.
 
Over the Thanksgiving long weekend, police responded to 13 reports of vehicle and garage break-ins in Stonebridge, Lakeview, and Lakeridge.
 
They say thieves broke into vehicles then used the openers to get inside the garage.
 
Saskatoon police are reminding people that valuables should never be left inside vehicles including keys and garage door openers.
