Highway 33 was closed for several hours after a deadly crash near Lajord, Sask.
Around 6 a.m. Tuesday, White Butte RCMP were called to the two-vehicle crash. RCMP said a northwest-bound car collided with a southeast-bound pickup truck.
The lone adult female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The lone adult male driver of the truck was transported to a Regina hospital with undetermined injuries.
The highway remained closed from Francis to Kronau, Sask. throughout the morning. The highway was reopened around 2 p.m.
