A 42-year-old man was treated for minor head injuries after a brush with a train on Tuesday.
It happened around 10 p.m. at the train crossing on Avenue W South near the Suncor Energy Terminal.
Police said the vehicle had initially stopped at the crossing, but then started moving and hit the train, which was coming to a stop at the time.
The two-door car received major damage, while the train did not appear to have any.
CP Rail was notified of the incident and traffic was detoured while police completed their investigation.
No charges have been laid.
