A police chase that started on a busy street in Saskatoon came to an end on a dark grid road with no exit.
Around 8:49 p.m. Thursday, Saskatoon police officers tried to stop a Pontiac SUV near the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Ruth Street.
The SUV refused to stop for police and drove off southbound on Broadway Avenue, heading onto Circle Drive and eventually south on Highway 11.
Police used a tire deflation device on a grid road near the outskirts of the city.
The tires were punctured and the suspect eventually stopped when he drove down the road with no exit.
A 35-year-old man faces charges of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and breach of a court order.
