A young man was arrested after a report of a bear spray attack on another man in Moose Jaw on Saturday.
According to a release from the Moose Jaw Police Service, police were called to the 500 block of 1st Avenue Northwest at about 8:14 p.m. When they got there, the suspect had already left the area but was found shortly after.
The man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, and two counts of breach of undertaking – he will stay in custody until he goes to court Monday morning.
The victim was taken to hospital by EMS for treatment and was released shortly after.
