Saskatoon police have arrested a 24-year-old man after a stabbing and break-in Friday night.
Officers were called to a residence in the 1800 block of 20th Street West, near St Paul’s Hospital at 7:53 p.m. When they got there they found a person that had been stabbed several times. They were taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Minutes after arriving at the residence police were called to a home in the 400 block of Avenue U South for reports of a break-in where a man was threatening people inside with a knife.
Police arrest the 24-year-old and through their investigation determined the incidents were related.
He has been charged with aggravated assault, break and enter, assault with a weapon and several counts of breaching a court order.
