Murray Wood: The public has a right to know details when someone is killed by police
Imagine living in a country where police shoot and kill someone, then don't tell the public who it was. Well, that's wha...
A stabbing in the Riversdale neighbourhood Saturday afternoon has led to the arrest of a 42-year-old woman.
At 2:13 p.m. police were called to a home on the 800 block of 20th Street West after a 42-year-old man had been stabbed several times.
By the time officers arrived he had already been taken to hospital.
The woman, who knows the man, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with aggravated assault.
The man underwent surgery for his injuries and is listed in stable condition.
