Brock Hamm made 34 saves as the Saskatoon Blades held the powerful Prince George Cougars to a 2-1 win Saturday night.
The loss wraps up the Blades 5-game B.C road trip with a 2-3 record.
Brad Morrison scored both goals for the Cougars while Josh Paterson had the lone marker for Saskatoon.
For his efforts Hamm was awarded the game’s third star for holding Prince George to a single goal until the dying minutes. Logan Flodell also made 5 saves, briefly entering the game after Hamm had an equipment malfunction.
Brock Hamm is leaving the net for Saskatoon for an apparent equipment issue? Either way, Logan Flodell is in.
