The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
The ‘secure-the-building’ protocol enacted at F.W. Johnson Collegiate in east Regina has ended.
Police enacted the protocol around 10:15 a.m. Thursday after someone made a verbal comment that was interpreted as a potential threat. The comment was rather vague, but it was taken seriously by school administration and police.
Officers identified and found the individual who allegedly made the comment.
The ‘secure-the-building’ protocol was lifted around 2:30 p.m.
Officers remained at the school until everyone was dismissed for the day.
Police said the investigation into this matter continues. No word on if the individual will face any charges.
