2016 has been a year of sharing. We have all been sharing memories of Mosaic Stadium. It’s been a year-long theme for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. However, memories go beyond the CFL for many of us. Earlier this week I shared stories involving my two sons. (One story involved a PFC football game, the other an AC/DC concert.)
I’m like anyone else who has spent lots time in this province. Each Mosaic Stadium is just as interesting as the one before.
It recently dawned on me that the best Mosaic memory is yet to come. In a word, “demoliton”.
Memories are to be cherished, and here’s hoping that whether it be a Rider game, an amateur football game or a big concert, most Saskatchewanians have a treasured memory from Mosaic Stadium. It’s important that those memories don’t bring about regret. No one should feel bad about that facility coming down. When the tear down starts it will be symbolic of something much better ahead.
