As most of the rest of Canada prepares to "fall back" an hour, one MP is suggesting an end to Daylight Saving ...
Highway 5, about 10 kilometres east of Saskatoon, was closed for about six hours Sunday morning after a fatal crash involving a semi and a car.
Around 3:30 a.m. the Saskatoon Fire Department and RCMP received reports that a semi had rolled over and a car was submerged in water.
When they arrived, crews discovered a man trapped inside the car and performed a water rescue.
One man from the car and one man from the truck were transported to Royal University Hospital. However, Sunday evening RCMP said the driver of the semi had died.
The highway has been reopened and the investigation is ongoing.
