A big ticket draw is coming to one of Saskatoon’s newest neighbourhoods.
Real estate company Dream Unlimited Corp. announced plans Wednesday for a new cinema to be built in the community of Brighton, in the city’s east end.
The theatre will feature first-run box office hits and is expected to open in fall 2017.
It boasts seven giant screens, wide rocking chairs and stadium style seating for all moviegoers.
Magic Lantern Theatres – the owners and operators of The Roxy and Rainbow Cinemas – committed to joining Save-On-Foods and Motion Fitness as anchor tenants in the Brighton Marketplace, located near College and McOrmond drives.
The marketplace will be developed with 240,000 square feet of retail and amenity space and serve existing and future community residents.
