The Green Zone: Riders' Jeremy O'Day preparing for 2025

O'Day discusses Trevor Harris and changes to be made to get the Riders back to the Grey Cup.
The second quarter report from the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) doesn’t create a healthy picture.
Targets for finances and wait times are not being met.
Emergency room stays are up to an average of 13 hours — the target is just over 7 hours.
And roughly 2,800 people are waiting three or more months for surgery.
RQHR CEO Keith Dewar maintains money is the issue.
“Funding wasn’t sufficient to combat both the increase in demand for services as well as funding the normal volumes we would have done,” Dewar explained.
“We are working hard to align the resources we have with the services that we need to deliver.”
The region has a deficit of $6.6 million and that is expected to grow to over $13 million next year.
