More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
Over 55 floats paraded through downtown Saskatoon for the 26th annual Santa Claus parade Sunday afternoon.
“Santa was so cool, I loved it,” young Ella told 650 CKOM.
Her Mother enjoyed the parade as well but thought there needed to be an added touch.
“I think more music would have been nice,” she said.

Cheers burst out when Santa made his way to Midtown Plaza.
“Me and Mrs. Claus had a wonderful time,” he said.
“We saw so many boys and girls, Grandpa’s and Grandma’s. I think it was the best parade yet.”
