RCMP in northern Saskatchewan are currently at the scene of what is being called a serious collision about 20 kilometres west of Shellbrook.
Highway 3 is closed between Shellbrook and Mont Nebo until further notice as officers investigate.
RCMP say driving conditions are very dangerous in the area due to a combination of ice accumulation and freezing rain.
As of Monday evening, the Highway Hotline said travel was not recommended in that area, along with around Prince Albert.
