Saskatchewan’s provincial parks and recreation sites broke another record this year.
There were nearly four million visits in 2016, which is up by 108,000 since 2015. Since 2007, provincial park visits have gone up 32 per cent.
“Saskatchewan provincial parks continue to gain popularity each year and it’s not hard to see why,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Ken Cheveldayoff said in a news release.
“Our parks are great places for families to enjoy the high quality of life we have in the province.”
