RCMP have identified human remains found south west of Saskatoon.
Around noon on Sunday, Warman RCMP were advised of the discovery in the R.M. of Montrose in the Swanson district.
RCMP identified the man as 32-year-old Barry Heimbecker.
Foul play is not suspected.
He was reported missing from Saskatoon in March.
His remains were found by a hunter in the area, around 25 kilometres south of Delisle.
Heimbecker and Neilson Kakum, 21, who had also been reported missing, were last seen together at a home in Saskatoon’s Fairhaven neighbourhood.
Both the men were known to have ties to street gang activity.
Police issued a release in March saying Kakum had been located safe.
