If the Saskatoon Blades want to right the ship heading into the holiday break, scoring a few more goals will certainly help.
The Blades are looking to end a three-game losing skid when they welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings Friday night, part of a rough November that has yielded just two victories.
Heading into the game, Saskatoon ranks 4th from the bottom in goals scored with 61, while allowing the second most goals in the WHL with 99 through 25 games.
“It’s not an equation for success,” said Blades head coach Dean Brockman.
“We need contributions from everyone it’s not just one guy right now.”
Two of the most recent losses came against the aforementioned Wheat Kings, who outscored the Blades 14-4 in back to back defeats just one week ago.
“We have to come out a lot stronger and it’s a tough place to play so being at home we’re expecting better,” said Blades goalie Logan Flodell.

Moving on from Ryan Graham Trade:
The Blades are looking for someone to step up in the wake of the Sunday afternoon trade of veteran forward Ryan Graham.
That trade has done wonders to elevate the game of the now Swift Current Bronco, who has three goals and six points in his first two games since the Trade.
Saskatoon will look for someone to step up in the wake of the trade to make up for the loss of an offensive threat.
