Two teenagers who allegedly made threats against the Swift Current Comprehensive High School have been arrested and charged.
Just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, RCMP received a complaint a student had made threats against the school. Shortly after, officers were able to locate the suspect and make an arrest. Another suspect was also identified and arrested.
During the investigation, officers seized an air soft replica firearm at a home in Swift Current.
Ryan Pierone, 18, and Kolton Cunningham, 18, are charged with uttering threats. Pierone is also charged with possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Both made their first court appearance in Swift Current Thursday.
