It may only be Thanksgiving in the United States but the Saskatoon Blades are thankful for some home cooking after a 3-2 win over Brandon Friday night.
The victory snapped the Blades’ four-game losing skid, which included a pair of losses in Brandon.
Braylon Shmyr led the way for the Blades, scoring twice (8,9), including the game-winner in the final minute of the third period.
Jesse Shynkaruk also got on the board with a goal(7), adding an assist on Shmyr’s late winner. Logan Flodell stopped 31 of 33 shots in the win.
