An alleged thief was foiled by everyday citizens in Moose Jaw on Sunday morning.
According to police, officers were called out to the Sunningdale neighbourhood around 2:15 a.m. Sunday because some people were holding a man they believed had been breaking into vehicles in the area
Upon arrival, officers arrested the man who was being held and – after some investigation – two other men in the thefts.
Police said they recovered things like electronics, wallets, vehicle keys and purses.
The Moose Jaw Police Service is encouraging people to report it if their vehicle looks like it had been entered overnight.
Police are also reminding people to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from sight.
