Saskatoon police are suggesting you consider buying Stolen Goods this holiday season.
Not the illegal kind, of course – Stolen Goods is the title of the Saskatoon Police Service’s new cookbook.
Police spokesperson Alyson Edwards said the idea began with one of the people working in the service’s finance department, then spread through the building.
Now, the compilation of around 200 recipes is being sold as a lighthearted fundraiser for the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.
“We have different sections, we had some fun with that. We have ‘The Early Shift’ which is breakfast ideas. We have a section called ‘Fraud’ and it’s gluten-free recipes,” Edwards said during an appearance Monday on the Brent Loucks show.
The books are $20 each. Information on how to pick up a copy is available online.
