After an unseasonably warm November, the city of Regina is warning people to stay off ice surfaces.
Ice is beginning to form on Wascana Lake and creek, storm channels and ponds in Regina.
The city is reminding people not to walk, ski or skate on any body of water throughout the fall and winter season.
Dogs should also be kept leashed when near bodies of water. The city said if a pet breaks through the ice, people should not attempt to rescue it.
