Berkly Catton, Brayden Yager, Caden Price and Tanner Howe were all named.
After nearly 2 periods with a one-goal lead, the Saskatoon Blades couldn’t hold on in a 4-1 loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings Friday night.
Logan Christensen (7) scored for Saskatoon midway through the first period for what would be the Blades lone goal of the game. Fifteen-year-old Kirby Dach picked up an assist on the goal, his first WHL point in his second career game.
The Blades would hold the 1-0 lead all the way into the third period. Logan Flodell stopped all 22 shots he faced in the first two periods.
In the third, it was all Edmonton. The Oil Kings scored two empty net goals as part of four unanswered in the period.
Saskatoon will try to avoid losing four straight games when they visit Moose Jaw on Tuesday Dec. 6.
