Suspicious packages in Saskatoon cost over $60,000 to emergency services

A series of suspicious packages left around Saskatoon on Tuesday cost over $60,000 in emergency response.
 
Packages containing a mysterious white powder put parts of the city on lockdown as crews tried to determine if there was any risk to the public.
 
That response cost the fire department and EMO just over $53,000 to go along with over $13,000 in police costs.
 
A 31-year-old woman is facing numerous charges of mischief and uttering threats in connection with the incident.
