A Meadow Lake landlord is facing charges of sexual assault after RCMP received a complaint from a tenant.
Police received the complaint in October. The victim alleged they were sexually assaulted by their landlord in Meadow Lake.
An investigation followed and on Dec. 5, police arrested 63-year-old Roger Epp.
Epp is charged with two counts of communicating for the purpose of obtaining sexual services and one count of sexual assault.
In a news release, a police spokesperson said one of the charges dates back to an alleged incident in November 2011. The other charges are from the second alleged incident in October.
Epp was released from custody and will appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Jan. 16.
As part of their investigation, RCMP officers are working to determine if there are any other complainants. Anyone who may have information is asked to contact the Meadow Lake RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
The allegations against Epp have not been proven in court.
