A body found in a burned out house this fall has led to murder charges against three people.
On Oct. 5, crews put out a fire in the house at 1555 McTavish St., just east of the Pasqua Hospital. It took almost a week before investigators found the body of Ryan Daniel Sugar, 31, inside.
Police haven’t said whether Sugar died in the fire or if he was dead before the fire started.
At the end of last month, police determined Sugar’s death was a homicide and said they had made significant progress in the investigation.
On Sunday afternoon, police announced three people had been charged. Colinda Lee Hotomani, 35, from Fort Qu’Appelle, Jessica Dawn Pangman, 27, from Regina, and Greg James Wolfe, 24, who has no fixed address, are all charged with first-degree murder in Sugar’s death.
