It certainly wasn’t pretty, but it’s not about how it looks. The Saskatoon Blades grinded out a gutsy 2-1 overtime win over the top-ranked Regina Pats Saturday night.
Jesse Shynkaruk was the hero. The star centreman scored just 35 seconds into overtime.
Gage Ramsay scored the Blades goal in regulation. Logan Flodell stopped 39 of the 40 shots he faced in the contest.
With the win the Blades now have victories in two of their last three games.
