It’s still not clear what’s in the deal, but transit workers have accepted a contract offer from the city.
Union members voted 55.83 per cent in favor of the deal Tuesday.
It now goes to city council for a vote on Thursday. The terms of the deal will be made public after that vote is complete.
They’ve been without a contract for four years and this one is only good until the end of 2016.
The city and Amalgamated Transit Union will be back at the bargaining table in the new year to negotiate another four-year deal.
