The Estevan Police Service is continuing their crackdown on drug activity in the city, making a large bust Wednesday night.
Members of the Estevan Police Service’s Drug/ Intel Unit, Criminal Investigation Unit, general duty officers, and the Containment/ Warrant Entry Team executed a warrant around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers searched a home on the south side of Estevan, finding around $10,000 of cocaine and crack cocaine, $1,600 in “shatter”, and several thousand dollars of cash. Digital scales and equipment used for the packing and distribution were also seized.
Nine people were arrested, but five were released shortly after.
Spencer Persson, 23, Tristen Stuckey, 20, Marshall Littlejohn, 19, and Christian Murphy, 21, are facing drug-related charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, and trafficking cocaine/ crack cocaine.
All four made their first court appearance Thursday.
