Saskatoon police have laid more than half-a-dozen charges against a 22-year-old Radisson man following a fight in a parking lot early Friday morning.
Police reported they were called to the parking lot, on the 800 block of Idylwyld Drive North, at around 2 a.m. Friday.
Witnesses said there had been a fight, but it was broken up by a bystander. One of the people involved in the fight allegedly came back and threatened the bystander with a gun before driving away.
The suspect allegedly showed up again as police were still taking witness statements. Officers stopped his truck and arrested him.
Police said they found a .22-calibre rifle and a loaded magazine after searching the suspect and his vehicle.
The man is expected to appear in court Friday on nine charges, including assault with a weapon.
