Jamie Nye: Kavis Reed not hiding his cards music to ears of Durant

Kavis Reed is the new GM of the Montreal Alouettes and he’s already laying out a plan to win.

His comments about quarterbacks on the Green Zone should be music to the ears of Darian Durant and his agent.

While speaking highly of the young duo of Rakeem Cato and Vernon Adams Jr, Reed made a clear statement. Well, listen for yourself from last night’s show. 

There isn’t much reading between the lines there. They want a QB who can win in the league immediately. Cato and Adams don’t do that.

A QB like Durant does.

Now the Riders have two months to make a better pitch to keep Durant because there is clearly a team in Montreal wanting to do business.
